Timothy Grigsby (he/him/his) serves as the Campus Support Advisor in the Governmental Affairs Unit of Associated Students at UC Santa Barbara. He is a graduate of UCSB’s Gevirtz Graduate School of Education where he received his MA in Education with an emphasis in Cultural Perspectives & Comparative Education. He received his BA in Psychology from UC San Diego and an AA in Transfer Studies: Psychology from MiraCosta Community College. He works as a staff advisor for the A.S. Global Gaucho Commission, A.S. Human Rights Board, A.S. Public & Mental Health Commission, & A.S. Transfer Student Alliance. He also co-hosts the A.S. Study Hall with Jay Stemmle of CLAS. Timothy serves on multiple staff committees in A.S. as well as a member of the campus organization, Men Advocating for Gender Equity.
During his time as a graduate student at UC Santa Barbara he worked in after school programs, taught a variety of courses in the Education Dept., served multiple years as the Chair of the Graduate Student Association of Education, and hosted/produced Radio Causeway on KCSB FM. After graduating with his MA, he worked for local youth and community serving non profit organizations before returning to UC Santa Barbara.
